I am grateful for the house. I spent 4.5 months in the bush. I feel safe here. Food is great. All the staff have treated me like a person and not like someone coming through the house. King George Apartments Renamed in Honour of Long Time Executive Director Bob Hargreaves
Canadian Mental Health Association – Port Alberni Branch proudly announces the renaming of its apartment community, formerly known as the King George Apartments at 3131- 5th Avenue, Port Alberni, to “Hargreaves House” in honour of the previous, long tenured CMHA-PA Executive Director Bob Hargreaves, and his extraordinary contributions to the organization and the community it serves.
The renaming recognizes Bob Hargreaves’s visionary leadership, dedication, and lasting impact on the development of affordable housing and supportive services throughout the community. Under his leadership, CMHA-Port Alberni established a strong foundation for providing safe, affordable, quality housing, and creating opportunities for residents to thrive.
